Softened water feed to pump

- Connect the purge hose to the production connector ⓬.
- Refer to chapter 8.1 "COMMISSIONING".
- Apply steps "a" & "B" and rapidly go to step "c".
- Use step "D" "PRIMING THE SOFTENED WATER INJECTION PUMP" ("Amorçage de la pompe doseuse
eau adoucie") ⓯ to thoroughly rinse the cell ⓮ with softened water for 300 seconds.
- Then stop the "RECOMMISSIONING" ("Remise en service") procedure.
- Disconnect the softened water feed to the pump from the connector ⓲.
- Connect a hose of the same diameter to the connector ⓲ from the container with the P0007659 acid
cleaning solution.
- Refer again to chapter 8.1 "COMMISSIONING".
- Apply steps "a" & "B" and rapidly go to step "c".
- Use step "D" "PRIMING THE SOFTENED WATER INJECTION PUMP" ("Amorçage de la pompe doseuse
eau adoucie") ⓯ to run the acid cleaning solution through the cell ⓮.
- Check that the acid reaches the purge hose connected to the production connector ⓬.
- Stop the injection pump ⓯ and allow the acid cleaning solution to sit for 10 minutes.
- WARNING, presence of acid solution --> Use an absorbent cloth to disconnect the hose from
the connector ⓲. Take every precaution to not spill the acid solution on the unit.
- Wipe away all chemical solution residue from the system.
- Reconnect the softened water feed to the pump to the connector ⓲.
- Refer to chapter 8.1 "COMMISSIONING".
- Apply steps "a" & "B" and rapidly go to step "c".
- Use step "D" "PRIMING THE SOFTENED WATER INJECTION PUMP" ("Amorçage de la pompe doseuse
eau adoucie") ⓯ to thoroughly rinse the cell ⓮ with softened water for 300 seconds.
- Then stop the "RECOMMISSIONING" ("Remise en service") procedure.
WARNING
Thoroughly rinse away the acid before restarting production (risk of the acid mixing
with the produced chlorine).
- Disconnect the purge hose from the production connector ⓬.
- Reconnect the production hose to the connector ⓬.
- Complete the dedicated service sheet for this procedure.
- Return the system to operation following the procedure described in the "RECOMMISSIONING"
("Remise en service") chapter.
- Replace the protective cover
