11.2 HyDroGEN Gas VENtING
The BWT oxidant reservoirs are fitted with an oxidant solution inlet siphon and two hydrogen vents. Unless
specifically agreed between BWT and the operator, it is the operator's responsibility to supply, install and fit
the oxidant inlet and hydrogen vent pipe(s).

Schematic diagram of the siphon and hydrogen vents (non-contractual)
Materials to be used:
Rigid or flexible PVC or other durably hydrogen-resistant materials
Hydrogen vent pipe diameter:
For 1 ECO-MX NANO unit the pipe diameter must be at least DN25. However, for the best possible venting
action or where a number of units are connected to the same reservoir, we recommend DN40 pipes.
Installation conditions:
The vents must transfer the hydrogen gas to the exterior, with an incline of at least 1.5 cm/metre of pipe.
