The tank includes:
• A softened water reservoir with float switch to
stop supply
• A brine reservoir with float switch to stop the top-
up water supply
• A divider board to separate the salt from the brine
The ECO MX NANO electrolyser system is also
supplied with:
• A height switch with 2 settings (LSH - LSL) for
automatic production regulation; supplied with
a 2 m cable, fitted with a female round connector
which can be screwed on to the round male
connector on the control unit to be mounted on
the oxidant storage
• A water level pressure switch to be fitted in
the softened water line, connected electrically to
the terminal block in the main junction box
BWt also proposes the following options:
• A water softener to ensure the water supply to the plant without
hardness (TH=0°f mandatory): this water softener can operate by volume or time
and is configured to transmit a protection signal to the ECO MX NANO electrolyser unit during
the regeneration phases or when the salt runs out
• Oxidant storage for up to 200 litres, configured to the control settings supplied with the unit, fitted with
the necessary vents to cope with the hydrogen produced during chlorine generation, and sufficient hoses
and fittings to connect the ECO MX NANO electrolyser to the oxidant storage.
All of the technical specifications for this equipment are included in this manual.
5.1 WarraNty coNDItIoNs
Incorrect use of the appliance may affect its operating efficiency, the quality of the final product and the supplied
safety systems. This will render the warranty entirely null and void.
Please note that the operator will be considered liable in the event of the following:
• Use of the unit in any other way than indicated in this manual, especially in terms of safety, operating
and maintenance instructions.
• If the persons operating the unit are not sufficiently qualified to complete the tasks necessary for
the effective operation of the unit.
• If the water used does not comply with the specifications indicated in the "Water supply quality" paragraph.
• If the system is not correctly assembled.
• If the unit or its accessories are subjected to any unauthorised modification.
• The ECO MX NANO electrolyser is designed to generate activated chlorine by a process of sodium chloride
electrolysis. This involves the on-site production of an active biocide substance which is covered in the field
of application of Regulation 528/2012 (also known as the "BPR" or "Biocide" Regulation). This production
is only authorised if the precursor (sodium chloride in this case) is supplied by a manufacturer or supplier
listed in Article 95 of the Regulation. The BWT Industrial/collective use range salt (e.g. reference P0009249
in 25 kg bags) complies with this standard.
• If maintenance operations are not completed or the maintenance schedule is not respected.
• Use of spare parts not supplied by BWt.
• If the safety systems are deactivated, removed or short-circuited.
IMPORTANT: read this manual carefully before connecting the unit to the mains supply, filling it with
water or operating it. Failure to comply with these instructions will invalidate the guarantee.
