In the service menu, press the annual
maintenance counter for 3 seconds, see
opposite.
This will reset the annual maintenance
counter.
- Return the system to operation by following the commissioning procedure.
10.3 GENEral MaINtENaNcE
The system must be subjected to a complete revision every 3 years regardless of the number of
operating hours.
At the end of the 3rd year of operation, a general maintenance alarm will be displayed in the alarm strip.
This intervention must be completed by an authorised BWT technician.
The following interventions must be completed:
- Disconnect the unit's power supply.
- Inspect the whole of the control unit, replace any faulty parts.
- Remove the electrolysis cell and replace with a new one.
- Thoroughly clean the brine and softened water buffer reservoirs. Repeat for the production reservoir.
- Change the solenoid that feeds the brine and softened water buffer reservoirs
- Replace all seals and the VITON o-ring.
- Replace all flexible PE - PTFE - PVC hoses.
- Check all of the contact switches and safety systems, replace where necessary.
- The water softener must undergo a complete revision (see manufacturer's maintenance manual).
- Once the maintenance operations are finished, complete the dedicated service and maintenance
record sheets.
In the service menu, hold down the red
button opposite for 3 seconds.
This will reset the general maintenance
counter.
- Return the system to operation following the procedure described in the "RECOMMISSIONING" chapter.
NB: A log of all maintenance and servicing operations is kept and available exclusively via the "SYSTEM" menu.
