shown "in negative" on the dis-
play. If you want to select this
engine map, press the starter
button within 1.5 seconds. Oth-
erwise the next engine map in
the sequence will be shown in
negative. When the desired map
is shown, press the starter but-
ton and the selected engine
map will be displayed "in posi-
tive". In any case, do not "open"
the throttle grip during this oper-
ation. Opening the throttle inter-
rupts the acceptance of the new
engine map by the electronic
control unit ECU (the mapping
flashes "in positive") until the
hand grip is closed, permitting
the ECU to complete the opera-
tion.
IMPORTANT
IF THE THROTTLE GRIP IS TWISTED
WHEN THE NEW ENGINE MAP CHOS-
EN IS HIGHLIGHTED "IN NEGATIVE"
ON
THE
DISPLAY,
STILL IN THE ACCEPTANCE PHASE
BY THE ECU, THE NEW MAP SELECT-
ED BEGINS TO FLASH "IN POSITIVE"
ON THE DISPLAY, BUT WILL NOT BE
ACTUALLY
APPLIED
THROTTLE CONTROL IS RELEASED.

vante sera mise en évidence «
en négatif » sur l'écran. Si vous
souhaitez choisir cette cartogra-
phie, il faudra appuyer sur le
bouton de démarrage dans un
laps de temps de 1,5 secondes.
Dans le cas contraire, la carto-
graphie suivante de la séquence
sera visualisée en négatif. Lors-
que la cartographie désirée est
visualisée, appuyer sur le bou-
ton de démarrage et la cartogra-
phie moteur sélectionné s'affi-
che « en positif ». Dans tous les
cas, ne pas "ouvrir" la poignée
des gaz pendant cette opéra-
tion. Si on tourne la poignée de
l'accélérateur à cet instant, l'ac-
ceptation de la nouvelle carto-
graphie de la part de l'unité
électronique ECU s'interrompt
(la cartographie clignote « en
positif ») et tant que la poignée
THEREFORE,
n'est pas relâchée, l'ECU ne ter-
mine pas l'opération.
