Before adjusting the RITech setting, print a RITech test pattern to
help you in determining which setting is best for you.
To print a RITech test pattern, use SelecType, the printer driver, or
the Remote Control Panel utility packed with your printer.
Using SelecType:
Enter SelecType Level 2 and press u or d until RITech appears on the
display, then press r three times. The printer prints the test pattern.
Using the printer driver:
Click the SelecType button in the Main window, then click the
RIT-Test button.
Using the Remote Control Panel utility:
Bring up the Remote Control Panel by typing EPRCPL at a DOS
prompt; select the appropriate emulation from the main Remote
Control Panel window; choose the Print RITech Sheet option from the
File menu.
Out of adjustment Optimal setting
If the pattern is out of adjustment, change the RITech setting or turn it
off to improve print quality.
