Status and Error Messages

The possible status, error, and warning messages are listed in
alphabetical order below.
ADD MEMORY FOR CH
There is not enough printer memory for the indicated channel. This
error is caused by changing the emulation mode or by increasing the
size of the RX (receive) buffer.
To correct the error, use the SelecType RX-BUFFER SIZE menu
item to reduce the size of the RX buffer, or the EMULATION menu
item to change to another emulation. Or you can add memory to the
printer.
CHAR CREATING
A character is being created in printer's RAM.
CHECK PAPER SIZE (warning)
The printed paper size does not match the PAGE SIZE setting in
SelecType Level 1. Check to see if the correct size of paper is loaded
in the tray. Next press Continue to clear the message.
COPY END (status)
Multi-copy printing is canceled (you pressed the Copy End button
with the printer off line). For more information on Copy End, see
page 1-6.
