Deleting fonts

The following procedure deletes fonts from printer memory. It
also gives you the option of deleting the font file from the
temporary file on your computer's hard disk. Unless you plan to
use a font later, it is a good idea to remove it from the hard disk to
free up the storage space.
1. Open the Font Manager window.
2. Select the fonts you want to delete by highlighting their names
in the Installed Fonts list.
3. After selecting the fonts, click Delete.
A message appears asking if you want to delete the selected fonts
from your computer's hard disk.
4. Click Yes to delete the selected fonts from both printer memory
and from your computer's hard disk.
Selecting No deletes the selected fonts from printer memory but
leaves them on the hard disk. The font names will not appear
in any of the Windows menus, but the fonts will continue to
take up disk space.
5. After you finish deleting the fonts you want, click Exit to return
to the Main window.
Note:
The above delete operation does not remove permanently installed
fonts from printer memory. To delete permanent fonts, perform a
Printer Reset operation as described in "Resetting and Initializing
the Printer" on page 6-26.
