14.2 SELECTING THE TYPE OF DEVICES CONNECTED TO
"S1 EDGE"
By default = "S1 Edge"set for devices with normally closed
contact (terminal 9)
This procedure allows for setting the "S1 Edge" output for
managing 8.2 kOhm resistive edges.
ACTION
01.
PRESS THE START KEY FOR 3 SECONDS
PRESS THE RADIO KEY FOR 1 SECOND, then select the option:

• S1 Edge = resistive edge > 03.a
• S1 Edge = device with normally closed contact (NC) > 03.b
S1 Edge = resistive edge: Yellow "set" LED set to ON.

If the setting is correct, proceed to point 05, otherwise proceed to point 04.a
Device with "normally closed" contact (NC"):
04.a
PRESS THE START KEY FOR 1 SECOND
or
S1 Edge = device with normally closed contact (NC): Yellow "set" LED set
03.b
to OFF.
If the setting is correct, proceed to point 05, otherwise proceed to point 04.b

PRESS BOTH THE START AND RADIO KEYS FOR 2 SECONDS
PRESS THE SET AND RADIO KEYS SIMULTANEOUSLY OR WAIT 10

14.3 OTHER FUNCTIONS
To interrupt the following programming sequences at
any time, simultaneously press the SET and RADIO buttons
or wait 10 seconds.
ACTION

PRESS THE SET KEY FOR 1 SECOND, then select the option:

• control unit lock activated > 03.a
• control unit lock deactivated > 03.b
Control unit lock activated: The yellow "set" LED, the red "radio" LED and

SECONDS TO EXIT THE PROCEDURE
The control unit constantly verifies the integrity of the edge by
measuring the resistance between the two dedicated terminals.
To perform the check on the safety devices, the
connected edges must be of the resistive type with 8.2
kOhm.
RESULT
All the LEDs light up and then switch
off (if not, consult paragraph "14.3.1

unit protection")
The red "error" LED lights up steady
The red "error" LED will remain steady lit
and the yellow "set" LED will switch off
The red "error" LED lights up steady
The red "error" LED will remain steady lit
and the yellow "set" LED switches on
All the LEDs will resume their standard

14.3.1
Activating/deactivating the control unit protection
Factory setting = control unit protection not active.
This function allows for blocking all the control unit programming
sequences and the settings adjustable via dip-switch. To complete
a new programming sequence or to make a dip-switch/trimmer
modification effective, the protection must be deactivated
RESULT
All the LEDs switch off
The yellow "set" LED, the red "radio" LED and
the red "start" LED switch off
The yellow "set" LED, the red "radio" LED and
the red "start" LED light up
All the LEDs will resume their standard
behaviour
