STEP 14
STEP 14
The control unit has other special characteristics that are not nec-
essary for most standard installations. All the descriptions are in-
cluded below.
14.1 Backjump adjustment
This procedure can be adopted to adjust or eliminate the back-
jump. It consists in reversing the door movement at the end of
its path to recover the belt, facilitate unlocking and safeguard the
mechanical system. This is useless on certain installations, there-
fore its value can be adjusted.
FACTORY SETTING: backjump = value 2, equal to 500 ms
Before proceeding with this programming procedure,
first verify whether the "basic programming of the auto-
mation movement" or the "advanced programming of the
automation movement" procedures have been completed.
ACTION
01.
PUT THE DOOR IN THE CLOSED POSITION
02.
PRESS THE START KEY FOR 3 SECONDS

Backjump levels: 0 / 500 ms / 700 ms / 1 s / 1.5 s / 2 s.
When the series is made up of a flash of the Set LED, the back-
jump value is zero (no reversal of movement at the end of the
path); when there are 6 flashes, the backjump is set to the maxi-
mum value.
Clearly, the other series indicate growing intermediate values from
1 to 6.
The backjump value can be known at any time by pressing the
set button the first time and counting the number of flashes of the
red "error" LED.
If the backjump value is too high, an undesired distance
may remain between the door and the mechanical stop.
RESULT
ALL THE LEDS LIGHT UP AND THEN SWITCH OFF (if not,
consult paragraph 14.3.1)
The yellow "set" LED lights up steady and the red "error" LED
indicates the backjump level
The yellow "set" LED lights up steady and the red "error" LED
indicates the backjump level*
The yellow "set" LED remains steady lit and the red "error" LED
indicates the backjump level

flashes rapidly
The LEDs will return to their normal operating configuration
