FUNCTION

DIP1 "STEP": If the dip-switch is set to ON, the step-by-step
mode is activated. At every start impulse (wired or via radio
transmitter), the control unit performs an action. Starts the motor
if the automation is stationary and stops it if it is moving.
If the "STEP" dip-switch is set to OFF, the OPEN FULLY/PAUSE/
CLOSE FULLY/STOP operating mode is activated (condominium).
The control unit only accepts commands (wired or via radio
transmitter) for the opening phase. With the automation in the
opening phase, it continues to open, and with the system in the
closing phase it reopens completely. The automation can close
again with the time set through the "PAUSES" potentiometer, if
the "AUTO" dip-switch is set to ON. Conversely, it is necessary
to give a Start command (wired or via radio transmitter) with the
automation completely open.
DIP2 "AUTO": If the dip-switch is engaged, the automatic re-
closing function is activated. The control unit automatically closes
the door after the time set through the "pauses" potentiometer
(see paragraph "7.2 Adjusting the potentiometers"). If the
"auto" dip-switch is set to OFF, the automatic re-closing function
is deactivated. To close the door, therefore, a command must be
given (wired or via radio transmitter).
DIP3 "CHECK": If the dip-switch is set to ON, the safety devices
connected to the "Phototest" terminal [3] are subjected to a
preventive check before any movement is started.

The devices connected
to terminal "S2 Photo" [4]
intervene by stopping the
movement during both the
opening and closing phases
If the "check" dip-switch is set to OFF, the safety devices
connected to the "Phototest" terminal [3] are constantly powered.
DIP4 "FUNCTION": If the dip-switch is set to OFF, the safety
devices connected to terminal "S2 Photo" [4] only intervene in
the closing phase with immediate reversal. If the dip-switch is set
to ON, the safety devices connected to terminal "S2 Photo" [4]
intervene by stopping the movement during both the opening and
closing phases.

7.2 Adjusting the potentiometers
PAUSE
OBSTACLE
FORCE
POTENTIOMETER
Description of operation
FORCE
Power: regulation of the motor power.
Turning the potentiometer clockwise
increases both the motor power and speed.
To validate the change, the door path must
be reprogrammed.
OBSTACLE
Obstacle, sensitivity to obstacles: adjustment
of the obstacle detection function. Turning
the potentiometer clockwise increases the
activation time before obstacle detection
(less sensitivity). Therefore, in systems
with particularly unfavourable mechanical
conditions, we suggest keeping a high
activation time. The obstacle is set to
midway (50%) in the factory.
PAUSE
Pause time before the automatic closing
of the door. Turning the potentiometer
clockwise increases the pause time from 0
to 180 seconds. Note: this potentiometer
only works when the AUTO dip-switch is set
to ON.
The variation of the "FORCE" potentiometer has no
effect until the door path is reprogrammed ("STEP 9").
