INSTALLATION: COMPONENT ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION
STEP 5
STEP 5
5.1 INSTALLING THE AUTOMATION COMPONENTS
WARNINGS
• Incorrect installation may cause serious physical injury to people
working on or using the system.
• Before starting to assemble the automation, perform the
preliminary checks as described in STEP 3.
After laying the electrical cables, proceed with assembly of the mechan-
ical parts of the guides and gearmotor, in the sequence specified below.
01. Lay the three guide sections by placing the two joining elements
in between them
02. assemble the guide by sliding the two ends (A) inside the joining
element (B) until they touch ("Fig. 11")
11
03. If the guide requires an intermediate fixing point, you can use the 4
tabs (C) present in the joint. To do so, simply turn the tabs by 90°
or 180° (D) ("Fig. 12")
12

04. insert the bracket E into the screw C and then make it slide inside
the guide
05. insert the spring, washer and nut (F) onto the screw (C) ("Fig. 13")

06. slide the head (G) to the end of the guide
07. turn the guide upside-down and lock the head (G) using the screw
provided ("Fig. 14")

08. turn the nut (F) to tension the belt ("Fig. 15")
An excessively taut belt could cause the gearmotor to break,
while an excessively slack belt could cause unpleasant
noises.

09. insert the motor pin (H) into the head (G)
10. position the bracket (I) and fasten it with the four screws ("Fig. 16")
The motor can also be mounted at 90° with respect to the guide
axis.
