Troubleshooting Quick Guide
Problem
When the device is switched
on, the interface language is
not the preferred one.
The device does not start
when the switch is positioned
to ON.
The device is switched on but
does not work.
No errors are displayed on
the screen.
The device is switched on but
does not work.
The screen shows an error
message.
When
operating,
PIEZOSURGERY

handpiece emits a slight
whistle.
Probable Cause
The desired language has
not been selected.
The connector on the end
of the power supply cord is
not plugged into the socket
on the back of the device
properly.
The power supply cord is
faulty.
The fuses are not working.
The foot pedal plug is not
correctly inserted into the
device socket.
The foot pedal is not
functioning correctly.

The insert is not properly
tightened into the

TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Refer to
Chapter 4.4 on
page 14
for the language
selection.
Check that the power supply
cord is firmly connected.
Check that the power supply
socket is functioning.
Replace the power supply
cord.
Replace the fuses
(refer to
Chapter 8.3 on page
49
).
Correctly insert the foot
pedal plug into the socket on
the back of the device.
If this occurs during
operation, disconnect the
foot pedal from the device
and use the foot pedal
button (refer to
Chapter
4.13 on page 27
). After
completing the operation,
contact the Authorised
Mectron Service Centre.

Unscrew the insert and screw
it back correctly by using the
Mectron torque wrench.
