Oiling the Machine

Switch off master switch.
Open the face plate and lift the carrying handle.

Unscrew the 3 set screws and remove the top
plate. (Fig. B)
Apply a few drops of fine quality sewing
machine oil to the points indicated by the arrows
in the figure.
For a machine in constant use, oil two or three
times a year.
In case the machine does not work smoothly due
to standing idle for some time, apply a few drops
of kerosene at the oiling points, and run the
machine rapidly for a minute.
Before oiling, wipe off the oiling points. (Fig. C)

Huilage de la machine

Ouvrir le couvercle latéral et garder la poignée
en haut. (A)
Dévisser les trois vis indiqués sur la photo et
retirer le couvercle supérieur. (B)
Mettre quelques gouttes d'huile de machine à
coudre aux endroits indiqués.
Huiler deux ou trois fois par an les machines
qui s'utilisent souvent.
Si une machine non utilisée pendant quelques
semaines a des problèmes, utiliser plutôt du
kérosène.
Mettre la machine en marche rapide pendant
une minute..
Nettoyer les endroits à huiler auparavant. (C)
