Definition of terms

• Device: The term "Device" used in these instructions applies to
the types described in these instructions:
Type 3360, electromotive angle seat control valve
Type 3361, electromotive globe control valve
• Ex: The abbreviation "Ex" used in these instructions stands for
"potentially explosive".
• The term "büS" (Bürkert system büS) used in this manual stands
for the communication büS developed by Bürkert, based on the
CANopen protocol.
• In these instructions, the unit bar stands for relative pressure.
The absolute pressure is stated separately in bar (abs).
