DANGER! Determination and assessment of hazards in accordance with the German
Health and Safety at Work Act
● According to the German Health and Safety at Work Act, the employer must assess what haz
ards are present for those occupied in the work and what health and safety measures are neces
sary. Observe the information from the employers' liability insurance association for commercial
kitchens!
● The employer must specify and provide the personal protective equipment.
WARNING! Risk of injury
● The appliance is hot during use!
● The overflow pipe is hot. There is a risk of scalding from any hot water flowing out of the overflow
pipe. Therefore remove the overflow pipe from the drain slowly and carefully.
● Take care when removing the containers: the containers are hot! Hot air or steam may escape as
the containers are removed!
CAUTION! Risk of damage
● Containers must not be placed on the heating elements. Containers must be suspended or stood
on the trivet. Only use containers made from stainless steel!
● Manual regulation of the water supply: You must therefore monitor the filling process and the wa
ter supply during the cooking process and close the tap when the vessel is full. This is important
as there is no automatic shut-off when the vessel is filled with water.
● Corrosion or pitting damage to the tank may be caused by salty water or cleaning materials!
Therefore empty and clean the boiling pan before any interruption in operating! Do not leave de
tergents in the tank for a long time. Remove the trivet after draining and cleaning and rinse the
tank and trivet thoroughly with clean water.
● Stainless steel may be damaged! Even stainless steel will rust if it is not treated correctly! There
fore, you must remove lime, grease, starch and protein coatings regularly. Corrosion may build up
under these coatings due to the lack of air. In extreme cases, the tub or the tank can be de
stroyed by pitting to an extent that it may become unusable. The manufacturer will not be held
liable for damage caused by corrosion or pitting!
● Do not knock against the drain while putting away or inserting pans, containers or vessels in the
cabinet, there is a risk of damage.
● Do not spray or clean the appliance with water hoses, high pressure cleaners, high pressure
steam cleaners or steam cleaners!
● Do not spray foam cleaner on front panels and appliance panels! The foam cleaner ingresses into
the smallest cracks and destroys the components of the appliance!
● If malfunctions cannot be rectified using page 40, Chapter 7. "Troubleshooting and rectification",
switch off the appliance and notify customer service.
● If the appliance has not been used for some time, have Customer Service check its functional
