. Close the drain tap.

Open
If Gastronorm containers are not used or the con­
tainers are not fitted:
. Insert the perforated trivet.
● Containers must not be placed on the heating
elements.
. Swivel the water supply pipe over the tank.
Filling the pan
. Open the water supply tap.
. Open the water tap - turn the lever to the left.
● Note the water fill level!
‒ The containers must be in contact with the
water.
● To speed up the heating-up time: Fill with hot
water and cover the tank while it is heating.
● Check the water level regularly while the appli­
ance is in use and top up with water as neces­
sary.
. Close water tap as soon as the fill level is
reached - turn lever to the right.
Switching on
. Turn the rotary switch to the "Heating" position
to speed up the heating time.
● The indicator light lights up.
. During operation, set the rotary switch in the
control range to 80°C, for instance.
Insert the tank
. Place food in the containers and insert the
containers in the tank.
. Close the containers with lids.
● Covering the containers
‒ prevents the food from drying out and
‒ reduces energy consumption.
