Follow these instructions to prevent
Avoiding material damage
material damage to your appliance,
accessories or other objects in your
kitchen.
ATTENTION!
¡ Improper use may cause material
damage.
Do not operate the appliance at
no-load.
Never use genuine parts and ac-
cessories for other appliances.
Only use the appliance with ap-
proved genuine parts.
Observe the maximum pro-
cessing quantities.
Do not store objects or deposit
tools in the pot.
Never heat the appliance when
empty.
The pot should only be used in
conjunction with the main unit.
Never use force to press the lid
down.
¡ During operation warm exhaust air
escapes from the vent grille at the
rear. If this is blocked, it may
cause the appliance to overheat.
Set up the appliance at a suffi-
cient distance from walls, easily
damaged surfaces and other
appliances.
¡ Vibrations may impair functioning
of the appliance.
Do not place the appliance on
moving or vibrating surfaces.
¡ Using the wrong lid may damage
parts of the appliance.
Only use the inner lid with feed-
ing tube in combination with the
reversible slicing disc and the
reversible grating disc.

¡ Objects in the pot or feeding tube
can cause damage.
Do not insert any objects in the
pot or the feeding tube, e.g.
wooden spoons.
¡ Heat can damage the shredding
discs.
Before use leave the main unit
to cool down.
Do not use in combination with
heating functions.
¡ Adding too much food may dam-
age the appliance.
Do not chop more than 1 kg of
ingredients at a time.
¡ High temperatures may damage
objects in the pot.
Do not store objects or tools in
the pot.
¡ Persistent intense heat may cause
the spatula to melt.
Only leave the spatula in a hot
pot while in use.
¡ Incorrect cleaning may damage
the appliance.
Never clean the contact point
with the rough side of the
sponge.
Never wedge plastic parts in the
dishwasher as they could be-
come deformed.
