Boiling point automatism
The temperature at which water starts
Boiling point automatism
to boil depends on the altitude of
your home above sea level. Your ap-
pliance can only work to optimum ef-
fect if you set the boiling point auto-
matism. Only then will you achieve
accurate temperatures and perfect
results.
Tip: You can find out your altitude by
looking on the Internet or asking your
local authority.
Notes
¡ The boiling point automatism is
available in Guided Cooking re-
cipes and with automatic pro-
grammes.
¡ The boiling point automatism does
not affect the "Manual cooking"
cooking mode.
Setting the boiling point auto-
matism
Press
in the main menu.

Press "Settings".

Select the required altitude above

Setting manual cooking

WARNING
Risk of fire!
¡ Hot oil and fat ignite very quickly.
Never leave hot fat or oil unat-
tended.
Only use heat-resistant oils and
fats.
Never add more than 250 ml oil
to the pot.
In the event of a fire never use
water to put out burning oil or
fat.
Switch off the appliance.
Extinguish flames carefully using
the lid, a fire blanket or similar
item.
¡ Alcoholic vapours may catch fire in
the hot pot.
Never cook food with high-proof
alcohol.
Open the lid carefully.
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Bursts of steam, liquids boiling or
slopping over and splashes of fat
may cause scalding.
Do not allow liquids to boil over.
Do not lean over the appliance.
Do not exceed the maximum per-
mitted capacity of 3 l.
Open the lid carefully.
Take special care when adding hot
liquids to the pot and do not stand
too close.
