en Cleaning and servicing
Processing food may result in discol-
ouration and residues. This is normal
and does not impair functioning of
the appliance.
Tips
¡ "To clean the lid, remove it."
→ Page 108
¡ Always remove the lid to make
sure that the water can escape
more easily.
¡ Lay the measuring cup in the dish-
washer on its side so that it col-
lects less water.
¡ After preparing dough, the appli-
ance and the tools are best
cleaned with cold water.
¡ If lids become discoloured after
processing carrots, remove this
with a little salad oil applied on a
piece of paper towel.
¡ If lids become discoloured after
processing turmeric or curry
powder, remove this by exposing
the lid to sunlight.
¡ If parts show grey discolouration,
remove this with a standard limes-
cale remover.
¡ To prevent corrosion of the shred-
ding discs, do not soak them for
long periods.
¡ To reduce odours, take out the
measuring cup if you are not using
the appliance.
