This setting is coupled with the equivalent series inductance (LSENse) setting. If an error occurs
l
with the VMIN value, it may not be compatible with LSENse or it may be out of bounds.
[SOURce:]POWer:BWIDth:PARameter:LSENse <value>|MIN|MAX
[SOURce:]POWer:BWIDth:PARameter:LSENse?
Sets the anticipated equivalent series inductance (ESL) between the battery and the voltage sense
point. This ESL includes inductance both external and internal to the battery or load. Setting LSENse
too low will result in a faster but potentially unstable response. Setting LSENse too high will results in
stable operation, but it may become needlessly slow. Refer to
information.
Parameter
[range]: 10E-9 H to 0.1 H
inductance: 10 μH
Sets the range to 0.1, and the inductance to 0.01: PWR:BWID:PAR:LSEN 0.1, 0.01
This setting is coupled with the minimum voltage (VMIN) setting. If an error occurs with the
l
LSENse value, it may not be compatible with VMIN or it may be out of bounds.
[SOURce:]POWer:BWIDth:PARameter:REPort? [<range>]
Queries the set of power bandwidth parameters for a given range. Returns the VMIN and LSENse
values as a comma separated list in that order.
Parameter
[range]: 10E-9 H to 0.1 H
Sets the range to 0.1, and returns the inductance: PWR:BWID:PAR:REP 0.1
[SOURce:]POWer:LIMit?
Returns the power limit of the instrument in Watts, either 20 kW or 30 kW.
Parameter
None
Return the power limit: POWer:LIMit?
[SOURce:]POWer:MODE FIXed|STEP|LIST|ARB
[SOURce:]POWer:MODE?
Sets the transient mode. This determines what happens to the output power when the transient
system is initiated and triggered.
FIXed keeps the output power at its immediate value.
STEP steps the output to the triggered level when a trigger occurs.
