4 Using the Regenerative Power System
The heavy solid lines illustrate the locus of possible operating points as a function of the output load. If
a positive or a low voltage limit has been programmed, this will be enforced in power priority mode,
Likewise, a positive or negative current limit will also be enforced in power priority mode. Therefore,
when these limits are reached, the unit no longer operates in constant power mode. Depending on the
limit that has been enforced, the power supply will now regulate the output either at its voltage limit or
current limit setting, and the output power will be reduced.
