Exposure Compensation
For normal shooting, the exposure compensation dial
should be
set
to 1 X. When shooting backlit or spotlighted
subjects,
or
when
special
effects
are desired,
exposure
compensation is required.
The
exposure compensation scale
has four
cli
ckstop
settings (2,4,
1/
2 and
1/4) in
addit ion
to
1
X.
It
ca
n
also
be used at
in-between
settings. Operate the dia
l
by
rotat-
ing
it
until
the
requ ired compensat ion factor
ali
gns w ith
the
bla
ck
index
mark
.
Always remember to return
the
d
ial
to
1
X when exposure compensat ion
is
no
lo nger
requ ired
