3.
ENGINE START
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
●
Read SAFE OPERATION in the front page of
this manual.
●
Read the DANGER, WARNING AND CAUTION
label located on the machine.
●
Exhaust gases are poisonous. Do not let the
engine run in closed building etc without
sufficient and adequate ventilation.
Do not start the engine on a slope.
●
●
Before start the engine, look around to check
safety, and give a signal by sounding the
horn.
3-1 STARTING THE ENGINE
Start the engine according to the following procedure.
(1)
Make sure that speed change lever is in "Neutral"
position.
(2)
Pull the parking brake lever toward the operator's
seat.

Start the engine only when the clutch lever is set to

"Disengaged" position for safety.
(3)
Set the accelerating lever to "High" position.
(4)
Insert the key into the starter switch and set it to "ON"
position.
(5)
Keep to the clutch disengaged position. (Don't foot
the clutch pedal.)
(6)
Turn the key to the right "Quick Glow (GL)" position.
Keep this position for about 5 seconds. Then turn it
to the right to start the engine. Immediately release
the key after start the engine. The key will be back to
"ON" position automatically.
(7)
Warm up the engine at "Medium" speed without load
for 10 minutes.

Do not continuously operate the self-start motor for
over 10 seconds.

When the engine does not start in 10 seconds,
please set the interval of 20 seconds or more, and
restart.
Do not use start help spray or similar fluids.

DEMARRAGE DU
MOTEUR
ATTENTION
Pour éviter des blessures corporelles:

Lire "Sécurité de travail" au début de ce
manuel.
●

PRECAUTIONS collés sur la machine.
●
Les gaz d'échappement sont nocifs. Ne pas
faire tourner la machine dans un endroit
insuffisamment ventilé.
Ne pas démarrer la machine sur une pente.
●
Avant de démarrer le moteur, regarder
●
p a r s é c u r i t é a u t o u r d e l a m a c h i n e e t
klaxonner.
3-1 MISE EN MARCHE DU MOTEUR
M e t t r e l e m o t e u r e n m a r c h e s u i v a n t l a p r o c é d u r e
ci-dessous.
(1)
Vérifier que le levier de changement de vitesse est au
point mort.
(2)
Serrer le frein à main
NOTE
Par sécurité, démarrer le moteur uniquement quand
●
le levier d'embrayage est en position débrayé.
(3)
Mettre le levier d'accélérateur en position High.
(4)
Mettre la clef de contact dans le contacteur et la
tourner en position ON.
(5)
Garder l'enbrayage en position débrayée. (Ne pas
enfoncer la pédale d'embrayage.)
(6)
Tourner la clef de contact sur la droite en position
"pré-chauffage" (GL). Garder cette position pendant
environ cinq secondes jusqu'à ce que le signal rouge
desparaisse. Puis la tourner sur la droite pour mettre
le moteur en marche. Relâcher immédiatement la clef
aprés la mise en marche du moteur. La clef revient
automatiquement à la position "ON".

Réchauffer le moteur à MOYENNE vitesse sans
travailler pendant 10 minutes.
