3-2 CHECKS AFTER STARTING
A f te r s ta r tin g th e e n gine, w ai t u nt il t he en gi ne a n d
hydraulic system is sufficiently warmed.
(1) Continue the no-load operation of the engine for
a b o u t 1 0 m i n u t e s s o t h a t t h e o i l i s s u ff i c i e n t l y
circulated as the temperature raise. This is called
warm-up operation.

operated before the engine and hydraulic system is
sufficiently warmed, it will greatly affect the engine
and machine life.
(2) Warm up the engine and hydraulic system according
to the following points.
... ■... Park the machine on a flat stable place and lower
the deck body.
Block the crawler.

Shift the speed change lever to NEUTRAL position.

Activates the parking brake.

(3) When the engine and hydraulic system has been
warmed up, activates the parking brake and check
the following points.
... ■... Check that the exhaust gas color is normal and that
the machine creates no abnormal noise or vibration.
... ■... Check that there is no leakage of oil, fuel or coolant.
◆ If the machine shows symptoms such as follows,
immediately stop the engine.
(1) Abrupt increase or decrease of the engine rotation
speed.
(2) Sudden abnormal noise.
(3) Defective color of exhaust gas.

3-2 VERIFICATIONS APRES DEMARRAGE

A p r è s l e d é m a r r a g e d u m o t e u r, a t t e n d re q u ' i l s o i t
suffisamment chaud, ainsi que le circuit hydraulique.
(1) Continuer à faire tourner le moteur à vide pendant
10 minutes environ afin que l'huile ait suffisamment
circulée à température correcte. Cette opérations est
appellée "réchauffage moteur".

toutes saisons, comme en hiver. Si la machine

h y d r a u l i q u e s o i e n t a s s e z r é c h a u f f é s , c e l a
affecterait grandement la durée de vie du moteur et
de la machine.
(2) Réchauffer le moteur et le circuit hydraulique suivant
la méthode ci-dessous.
... ■... Garer la machine sur un sol plat et stable. Abaisser
la benne.
Caler les chenilles.

Mettre le levier de vitesse au point mort.

Serrer le frein à main.

(3) Quand le moteur et le circuit hydraulique sont assez
réchauffés, mettre le frein à main et vérifier les points
suivants.

coloration normale et que la machine n'a ni bruits
ni vibrations anormales.
Vérifier qu'il n'y a aucune fuite de gas-oil, huile, ou

(1) Augmentation ou diminution soudaine du régime du
moteur.
(2) Bruit soudain anormal.
