WARNING!
The sound alarm serves to signal that the
equipment is about to start up and therefore, anyone within its radius of
activity for any reason must move to a safe distance or disconnect the
equipment from the power supply; the above function and relevant risk
must be made known to all those who might be in the vicinity of the
equipment for the purpose of safeguarding them against accidents or
injury.
Once the oven has started up (or has switched off) at the set time, the "Timer"
function remains operational. Therefore, if no changes are made, one week
later at the same time, the oven will start up (or shut down) again.
NOTE:
If the operator forces an oven start-up when the timer is
switched on before the set time, then the oven will start up normally and
at the start-up time set for the timer, everything will proceed as usual (the
oven is already on and therefore no buzzer will sound). The same thing
happens if the oven is already off at the time set for shut down.
NOTE:
If there is a power outage while the timer is engaged,
(Blackout), no important parameter will be changed and This is as long
as the power returns before the set switch on time.
NOTE:
The control unit, powered by furnace in STOP, is equipped
with an internal timer after which automatically turns off the display.
Pressing any button wakes up the controller. With genenerale switch in
position "1" and the display is off make sure that the unit does not enter
into this state before turning off the circuit breaker. Turn on the unit by
pressing any key, then proceed as in paragraph 3.9.

-
"Logfile": procedure for saving baking data, reserved to the Assistance
centre.
-
"Delta Power": function that allows the power at the oven opening to be
increased/reduced while maintaining the user's power settings. This
function serves to balance out the oven settings between the front and
back. Use the specific keys to make this correction (expressed in
percentages) to the ceiling and bedplate of the oven: positive values
increase the power, while negative values will reduce it. The corrections
set will be applied at the power percentages used in DUAL POWER
mode.
-
"Sensitivity": a function that makes it possible to adjust oven sensitivity
to changes in temperature, electronically. Three settings are available
(from least to most sensitive): "Low", "Default" (factory settings) and
"High".
-
"Split Booster": a function that makes it possible to set in which zone the
Power Booster function needs to provide additional power. The
following settings are available: "Ceiling & Bedplate" (factory default),
"Ceiling only" and "Bedplate only". Select the required setting
according to the type of product being baked.
-
"Energy Consumption Estimate": a summary of the estimated energy
consumption:
Instant power, Mean power, Maximum power (press the
o
corresponding button to scroll through the various parameters)
o
Partial energy meter (press the Trash Bin button to reset the
partial energy meter)
o

MULTITIMER
The "Multitimer" display serves to control 6 independent "Baking timers".
Enabling this function opens a dedicated screen that associates a timer control
to each neutral key (fig.22A). For operation and timer control, see"BAKING
TIMER" in 3.2.2. Press the "TIMER 1" or "TIMER 2" keys (fig. 15 part.5)
to pass to the baking parameter screen and set the temperature/power. Press
one of the two keys again to go back to the timer control screen.
If an operating baking timer should expire, the timer screen will open to allow
the user to view the expired timer, which is indicated by a flashing light.
To edit the settings for the 6 baking timers, press the "MENU" key, select the
BAKING TIMER with the "SELECT" key and then press "OK" to access the
submenu in order to select "Settings" and change the set times (fig.19a). In
MULTITIMER mode the settings for the 6 timers are made on three separate
screens (two timers for each screen).
3.5.10 METRONOME
The "Metronome" display consists of 6 synchronised timers that are
represented in the display by 6 empty bars. These bars get filled as time
elapses and become coloured when the preset times is about to expire. A
beeping sounds is triggered when each preset time expires. Setting all timers
follows the same procedure used for TIMER 1 Based on this setting, an
algorithm automatically calculates the offset between one timer and the next
so that during execution, the waiting time between the expiration of a timer
and the next is similar.
This function allows the user to have:
- a visual correspondence between the display and the baking areas
- a tool that helps to synchronize the work of placing into the oven and taking
out of the oven, very useful in repetitive productions (e.g. pre-cooked bases,
etc.)
With the oven in START mode, start the timers by pressing the button
"TIMER 1" or "TIMER 2" (fig. 15 part 5) to access the metronome display.
With the timers active, press the "TIMER 1" or "TIMER 2" button to switch
to the baking parameters screen and adjust the temperature/power. Press one
of the two buttons again to switch back to the timer display screen. Press the
STOP button to deactivate the timers
3.5.11 "Starbake" PROOVER (optional)
The "Starbake" cell is an electronically controlled leavening cell. Generally,
cell programming takes place through the control panel of the baking chamber
located above the leavening cell. If there is no "Starbake" leavening cell, but
there is an electromechanical cell or there is no cell, the display shows an info
message that the cell is not available. If there is a cell, the following options
are available:
- "Enable/Disable": this option activates the leavening cell at the
set or switches off the heating elements. The display shows the temperature
measured in the cell followed by the temperature set.
- "Settings": this option allows accessing the temperature adjustment screen.
See 3.8 and 3.9 for more information.
