increase and/or reduce the corresponding temperature. Since the display shows
the temperature read inside the baking chamber in real time, the first time the
corresponding "+" and/or "-" key is pressed, the current setting will be shown
in red. Pressing the keys again will change the parameter. Once the required
value has been set it is not necessary to confirm, as the parameter is received
and implemented in real time.
The operation described above can also be carried out while baking is in
progress. Temperature control is electronic and uses cutting-edge P.I.D
technology: power is a delivered so that it is always proportional and based on
the actual need identified. The oven has a virtually infinite power spectrum,
with the optimum setting being chosen instant by instant. To turn the heating
elements on and thus start heating up the baking chamber, simply press the
"START" button. The same applies to the functions described previously in
3.2.2.
NOTE:
The temperatures of the ceiling and floor are not tied to
one another as this guarantees greater flexibility for the operator.
According to set temperature range and the load, the two temperature
settings could influence one another, no longer guaranteeing that the set
temperatures will be reached and/or it may even be possible that the set
temperatures will be exceeded.
This should not be considered a problem.
3.3
"PROGRAMS" SETTING
The use of Programs allows the operator to work in "automatic" mode, i.e.,
with the possibility to save and/or recall a configuration of set parameters.
Each baking programme can store up to three baking stages. In the DUAL
POWER mode, each baking stage stores 1 temperature, 1 time and 2 power
percentages to memory, while in DUALT TEMP mode, it saves 2
temperatures and 1 time. Each programme can also be associated to a
DELTA POWER configuration (see 3.5.8) other than the one used in
MANUAL mode.
The presence of a program running is shown in the "status bar", from the
name of the program itself.
To manage the Programs, open the dedicated menu. Press "MENU", select
PROGRAMS with the "SELECTION" (↑ and ↓) keys and then "OK" to open
the submenu.
Scroll through the list on the display using the "SELECTION " keys to select
the following items.
-
"Recent": a list of the last programs used
-
"Manual": ends program execution and switches to manual mode
-
"Pre-Heating": displays the setting screens of the pre-heating program.
-
"Name search": orders the programs starting from the selected
letter
-
"Insert new": starts the procedure to create a program
-
"Modify": starts the procedure for editing an existing program.
-
"Delete": starts the procedure to eliminate an existing program
-
"USB Import": starts the procedure to import programs from a
external usb device to internal oven memory
-
"USB Export": starts the procedure to copy programs from the internal
oven memory to an external USB device
RECENT
Function to list the last programs used. Select the required program with the
"SELECT" keys and then press "OK" to run it and start the heating/baking
stage with the parameters of the chosen program.
MANUAL
Function to end program execution and switches to manual mode.
NOTE:
The same result is obtained in the main screen by putting
the oven in STOP and moving a baking parameters.
PRE-HEATING
This is the program dedicated to the heating of the oven that allows the oven
to be powered up with settings different from the baking ones. When the
heating temperature set is reached or pre-heating time expired, the oven
automatically loads the baking parameters. Use this function when you need
to:
- reduce the temperature increase time (by setting percentages higher than the
baking ones);
- program a slow temperature increase (by setting percentages lower than the
baking ones);
- program a discontinuous temperature increase (by setting a lower heating
temperature and percentages higher than the baking ones or vice-versa);
- program a temperature increase for a pre-fixed time (by setting temperature,
percentages and pre-heating time).
In the "Pre-Heating" menu, select:
- "Enable" to activate the heating program
- "Settings" to access the setting screens containing the parameters of the pre-
heating program: in the first screen adjust the temperature (the temperatures
to be adjusted are two if using the DUAL TEMP mode) then follows screen
for adjusting the power percentages (screen not available in DUAL TEMP),
finally adjust pre-heating time (set //:// to end pre-heating when the set
temperature is reached).
- "Enable with Start", setting to use if the user wishes to tie the "Pre-Heating"
program to the pressing of the START button. In other words, with this setting
enabled, pressing the START button allows the user to enable the heating
program, while pressing the button again disables the heating program and so
on.
When the "Pre-Heating" program is enabled, the display turns orange.
NAME SEARCH
This is the function that lists all of the programs in the memory, in
alphabetical order, starting with the letter chosen with the "SELECTION"
key and confirmed with "OK". Select the program required with the
"SELECTION" keys, followed by "OK" to run the program. Start the
heating/baking stage with the chosen program parameters.
INSERT NEW
The first screen for the program insert procedure required the name of the
program to be entered (fig. 20a). A flashing cursor in the top of the display
will indicate that the first letter of the name needs to be entered. Select the
required letter with the "SELECTION" keys and then press "OK" to confirm
and pass onto the next character. etc. Should it be necessary to delete the last
letter entered, scroll through the list to DEL and then press "OK" or press
the "DELETE" key. To complete the name entry and pass on to the next
screen, scroll through the list to END and then press "OK" or press the
"END" key. This will open the second programming screen, which will ask
for the number of stages in the programme. Use the "SELECTION" keys to
set the required number, between 1, 2 or 3 (fig. 20b). This is followed by
entering the working temperature ("Temperature step 1") and the baking
time ("Time step 1") (which will be preloaded to T1) (fig. 20c). Change the
parameters with the "+" and "-" keys, if the user wishes to set an endless
program for the "gradual temperature drop baking" mode, the time must be
set to //://, and then press "OK" to confirm. This will open the third
programming screen, where it is necessary to enter the power level for the
ceiling ("("Ceiling power step 1")") and floor ("Deck power step 1") (fig.
20d). Change the parameters with the "+" and "-" keys and then press "OK"
to confirm.
Programming continues with the screens for programming the second and
third stages, if present (fig. 20e-f-g-h).
Only those models with a steamer used at every stage in baking can have an
associated steam function at the start of the relevant baking stage. To enable
steaming, press the HOTKEY when the temperature setting screen is shown,
as indicated by the wording on the display: the special icon will appear to
the left of the temperature.
The duration of the vaporization can be set at the end of the programming
screens.
WARNING!
wording offering the choice to switch the steam function on/off using the
HOTKEY, increase the baking time for the previous stage since after
generating the steam, the boiler will cool down and will need a certain
amount of time to heat up and generate more steam. Go back to the
previous screens by pressing the "RETURN" key one or more times.
NOTE:
If the oven is fitted with steamer and there are no screens to
program this, contact the Assistance Service to enable the function.
Programming continues with the DELTA POWER function setting (fig. 20i):
leave the // symbols to use manual settings (see 3.5.8) or use the + and/or –
keys to select the required balance.
The last screen shows a summary of the program created (fig. 20l). Press OK
to save and run the program. Press "RETURN" to go back to the previous
screens without saving.
NOTE:
When entering a DUAL TEMP programme, select the mode
as described in 3.2.3 before starting to enter a new programme. The
procedure described here above remains valid for programming.
MODIFY
Select the first letter of the program to be deleted with the "SELECTION"
keys, then press "OK" to put all of the programs in alphabetical order,
beginning with the chosen letter. Select the required program with the
"SELECTION" keys then press "OK" to open the edit screens. The parameter
edit procedure is the same as the procedure described above in the "INSERT
NEW" paragraph.
DELETE
Select the first letter of the program to be deleted with the "SELECTION"
keys, then press "OK" to put all of the programs in alphabetical order,
beginning with the chosen letter. Select the required program with the
