MAINTENANCE

If the appliance is not used for more
than one week, observe the following
recommendations:
1. Run a complete cleaning cycle on the
irrigation circuit using the LONG
function (see Chapter 6 on page 31
2. Drain the circuits of any residual water
by removing the tank and starting a
SHORT cycle (see
FLUSH
on page 20 ) until all the water in the
irrigation circuit has been completely
drained;
3. Disconnect the appliance from the
mains;
4. Remove the peristaltic pump by
following steps from 1 to 3 described in
Chapter 9.1 on page 59
5. Disassemble the device as described in
Chapter 7 on page 33;
9.1 Replacing the Peristaltic Pump
On the back of the appliance there is the
plastic cover which covers the housing
of the peristaltic pump. Remove this
protection by lifting it upwards.
CAUTION: Before carrying out
operations on the peristaltic pump,
make sure the appliance is unplugged
and that the liquids container is not
connected.
Remove the two tubes of the pump from
the respective clutches positioned below
it;

when it is damaged, replace it with MECTRON

Store the appliance in its original
packaging, in a suitable place (see
"Conditions of transport and storage" in
Chapter 11 on page 61
reconnect all the accessories as
Chapter 4.3 on page 14;
described in
Perform a cycle of cleaning and
sterilisation following the instructions in
Chapter 8 on page 35
deformed or broken, with particular
attention to the integrity of the tip.
