Quick Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not seem to work properly, read the instructions again and then check the
following table.
Symptom
The appliance does not
switch on after pressing
the Power button for 2
consecutive seconds.
The appliance is on but is not
working. The display reports
no errors.
The appliance is on but is
not working.
On the keyboard there are
symbols lit.
During operation a faint
whistling noise can be
heard coming from the
MICROPIEZO handpiece.

Possible Cause
The terminal of the power
supply cable is incorrectly
inserted in the rear socket of
the appliance.
The electric power cable is
defective.
The pin of the pedal is not
properly inserted in the
socket of the appliance.
The pedal does not work.
The power level on the
keyboard is set to "0".

The insert is not correctly
tightened on the handpiece.
The irrigation circuit has not
been completely filled.
Solution
Check that the power supply
cable is securely connected.
Check that the supply socket
is working. Replace the
power supply cable.
Properly insert the plug of
the pedal in the socket on
the back of the appliance.
Contact an Authorised
MECTRON Service Centre.
Adjust the power level to a
value greater than 0.
