Routing the Cable Assembly
The cable is wrapped in packing material and attached to the equipment frame
for shipment. Proper cable routing is shown in the following figure.

Review the cable routing to make sure the cable is properly seated in the
pulleys. If it needs to be repositioned, use the following procedure to restore
the cable to its original route.

To route the cable on the movement frame:
1. Loosen the pulley bolt using a ³ ₈-inch hex bit, but do not remove the bolt.
2. Position the cable around the pulley and inside of the cable retainer.
Important: Visually check the pulleys to ensure that they are aligned and
properly seated inside the cable retainer to avoid cable friction.

3. Using a ³ ₈-inch hex bit, tighten the pulley bolt to 500 in-lb (56 N-m) of
torque.
