tudes, the RIDE BY WIRE compensates
for the inevitable loss of power (1% for
every 328 ft. - 100 m of height, due to
lower concentrations of oxygen in the
air), by adjusting the openings of the
throttle bodies. In the same way, the en-
gine responds to torque requests from
the throttle grip in riding conditions in flat
areas, transferring the natural reduction
of power to the higher gears. It follows
that the bodies are totally open when the
throttle grip is not completely turned, so
in the case that the throttle grip is turned
to its maximum, the performance of the
vehicle will not increase.

l'air) en agissant sur l'ouverture des corps
papillons. En conséquence, la réponse
du moteur à la demande de couple réali-
sée au moyen de la poignée d'accéléra-
teur est similaire à une condition de
conduite dans la plaine, en déplaçant la
réduction naturelle de puissance aux ré-
gimes maximums. Les papillons attei-
gnent alors la position d'ouverture totale
avec la poignée d'accélérateur non pas
complètement tournée : une rotation to-
tale de la poignée d'accélérateur n'aug-
mentera donc pas les performances du
véhicule.
