For this reason it is essential to note the following: after take-off and acceleration to normal cruising speed,
be sure to reduce the throttle setting. In level flight half-throttle is quite sufficient to give you the same
performance as a ducted-fan model at full chat!
The full thrust of the turbine should only ever be used for take-off and vertical manoeuvres. We strongly
recommend the use of the optional airspeed sensor, in order to limit the model's maximum airspeed.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

The guarantee covers the repair or replacement of any part which clearly exhibits a manufacturing or
material fault. The guarantee period is 12 months from date of purchase, and defects will be made good at
no charge. No other claims will be entertained. The purchaser is liable for transport, packing and carriage
costs. We accept no liability for damage in transit. If you are obliged to send the defective part to
GRAUPNER, or to the approved service centre for your country, be sure to include a brief but accurate
description of the fault, together with the dated purchase receipt. The guarantee does not apply if the failure
of the component or of the model is due to accident, incompetent handling or incorrect usage.

Checklists

Checklist before starting the turbine

• Fill the fueltank and check that there are no air bubbles in the fuel lines (if necessary bleed the system ->
manual mode, page 21).
Oil content of fuel: 5% (i.e. 1 litre oil to 20 litres kerosene).
• Ensure that the fuel tank vent is open!
• Ensure that the turbine battery and receiver battery are fully charged.
• Make sure that the fire extinguisher is within easy reach.
• Fill or top up the propane tank (page 14).
• Switch on the receiving system.
• Connect the propane gas.
• Place the model with its nose pointing into wind.
• Start the turbine (throttle trim forward!) (see page 22).
• Carry out a range check if necessary.

Checklist after stopping the turbine

• Face the model's nose into wind, and wait until the post-run cooling process is completed (approx. 2 min),
and only then switch off the receiving system.
• Disconnect the propane gas connection in the model.
