MESSA IN FASE
ACCENSIONE
Per procedere a questa
operazione, da effettuare presso
il Vostro concessionario
CAGIVA, agire nel modo
seguente:
- rimuovere la carenatura
inferiore sinistra secondo
quanto riportato a pag. 14;
- rimuovere il coperchio laterale
sinistro (1) e quello di
protezione del pignone catena
(2);
- togliere la candela, inserire
nella sua sede un comparatore
e rimuovere il rotore;
- montare l'apposito attrezzo
sull'albero motore e portare il
pistone al P.M.S. azzerando su
questa posizione il
comparatore;
- far coincidere la tacca posta
sullo statore con quella
praticata sull'attrezzo
sopracitato e verificare che il
pistone abbia compiuto una
corsa di 1,6 mm.
Nel caso ciò non si verificasse,
allentare le tre viti dello statore e
ruotare quest'ultimo sino a
ripristinare la corretta condizione
di anticipo (per la coppia di
serraggio del dado rotore vedere
pag. 66).

IGNITION TIMING
This operation must be
entrusted to an authorized
CAGIVA dealer, to carry it out
proceed as follows:
- remove the L.H. lower fairing
according to the instructions
of page 14;
- remove left crankcase (1) and
sprocket cover (2);
- remove spark plug, insert into
its seat a comparator and
remove rotor;
- install tool on the crankshaft,
bring piston to T.D.C. and in
this position put the dial gauge
on zero;
- aligne the notch placed on the
stator with the one on the tool
and check that the pisto has
carried out a stroke of 1,6 mm.
If this is not the cases loosen
the three stator screws and
rotate it until the correct
advance condition is restored
(for the rotor nut torque see
page 67).
MISE EN PHASE DE
L'ALLUMAGE
Cette opération doit être
effectuée par votre
Concessionnaire CAGIVA.
Opérer comme suit:
- enlever le carénage inférieur
gauche selon les instructions à
page 14;
- enlever le couvercle latéral
gauche (1) et celui de
protection du pignon chaîne
(2);
- enlever la bougie, insérer dans
son siège un comparateur et
enlever le rotor;
- monter l'outil spécial sur l'arbre
moteur et porter le piston au
P.M.H. en portant à zéro le
comparateur sur cette position;
- faire correspondre la coche du
stator avec la coche de l'outil
susdit et vérifier que le piston ait
accompli une course de 1,6 mm.
Dans le cas contraire, desserrer
les trois vis du stator et tourner
ce dernier jusqu'à rétablir la
correcte condition d'avance
(pour la couple de serrage de
l'écrou du rotor voir à page 68).
ZÜNDUNGSEINSTELLUNG
Bei dieser Kontrolle, die von
Ihrem Vertragshändler CAGIVA
vorgenommen werden muss, ist
folgenderweise vorzugehen:
- untere Linken Verkleidung wie
auf Seite 14 beschrieben
entfernen;
- linken seitlichen Deckel (1) und
Schutzdeckel des Kettenritzels
(2) abnehmen;
- Zündkerze herausschrauben,
einen Komparator in ihren Sitz
einsetzen und Rotor entfernen;
- das dazu bestimmte Werkzeug
an die Motorwelle anbauen und
Kolben auf OT bringen; in
dieser Stellung ist der
Komparator auf Null zu setzen;
- die Markierung auf dem Mantel
soll mit der auf oben
erwähntem Werkzeug
gestempelten Markierung
übereinstimmen und
kontrollieren, ob der Kolben
sich um einen Hub von 1,6 mm
bewegt hat.
Ist das nicht der Fall, die drei
Mantelschrauben losmachen
und den Mantel drehen, bis der
korrekte Zustand der
Zündvorverstellung erreicht wird
(für das Anziehmoment siehe
Seite 69).
