Radio and satellite radio
Please bear the following in mind

Please devote your attention first and
foremost to the traffic situation you are in.
Before your journey, please familiarize
yourself with the radio functions.
Only use the Voice Control System when road
and traffic conditions permit you to do so.
Otherwise you could be involved in an
accident in which you or others could be
injured.
Operation
You can use the Voice Control System to:
find a station

select a waveband (FM, AM or weather
R
band)
listen to the station list
R
save a voice tag for a station
R
switch on the satellite radio
R
select a category (satellite radio)
R
listen to the category list (satellite radio)
R
select a channel number (satellite radio)
R
delete a voice tag
R
switch HD radio on/off
R
switch radio information on/off
R
delete all voice tags from the station list
R
The names of all received and stored stations
are available for voice recognition.
To improve voice recognition, you can store a
voice tag for a specific speaker.
To select the radio or satellite radio

application: press the ? button on the
multifunction steering wheel.
Say the command "Radio" or "Satellite

radio".
4 Satellite radio: the station in the currently selected category will be read out.

Commands
"Help radio"
Using the command "Help radio", you can
have all the commands for the radio read out.
The main categories are read out first. After
a main category has been selected, the
available commands are read out.
"Help satellite radio"
Using the command "Help satellite radio", you
can have all the commands for the satellite
radio read out.
Selecting a waveband
You can set the waveband using the following
commands:

"Next station"/"Previous station"
You can start manual tuning and set the next
station using the following commands:

Selecting a frequency
You can select radio frequencies within the
FM range (87.7 to 107.9 megahertz) and
within the AM range (530 to 1720 kilohertz)
directly. The Voice Control System also
recognizes the words "frequency", "point",
"megahertz" and "kilohertz".
