WARNINGS/CAUTIONS/NOTES
This manual contains important information about the safe
installation, assembly, and service of the Table Bracket.
The installer is urged to read the instructions carefully, become
familiar with the system function described, and follow recom-
mendations to assure a proper mount.
Statements in this manual preceded by the following words or
symbols are of special importance.
Attention. Refer to warnings and cautions on Instructions
for Use packaged in each carton
WARNING - Indicates a potentially hazardous situa-
tion. If not avoided, this could result in death or serious
injury.
CAUTION - Means potential hazards or unsafe prac-
tices which can cause product or property damage.
NOTE - Gives helpful information.
WARNINGS:
Observe the following during installation:
Patient injury could occur if rotation of the injector head
dislodges the catheter while tilting the X-Ray table. To facil-
itate secure fit, ensure that all knobs are securely tightened
when mounting the injector head to the table bracket.
Injury could occur from a falling injector head or bracket. To
prevent the injector head or bracket from falling, observe
the following:
2
Do not use the bracket if any parts are broken or dam-
aged.
Install the bracket and injector head out of the range-
of-motion of other equipment. Collision with other
equipment may cause the bracket and injector head
to fall.
If the table bracket cannot be stabilized using the
instructions described in this manual, the T-rail may
be too thin, or not adequate to support the bracket
and injector head. In this case, do not use the
bracket.
Remove the injector head before moving the table
bracket to another position on the T-rail or removing
the bracket from the table.
CAUTION - When moving the bracket to another
position on the T-rail, remove and reinstall according to
instructions. Sliding the Table Bracket over any
obstruction will subject the bracket and components to
undue stress.
CAUTION - When not in use, store the Table
Bracket in an upright position. Failure to do so may
eventually cause the gas spring to malfunction. This, in
turn, could prevent the Table Bracket from adjusting
vertically.
