Jump starting

Start the engine using the two 12V booster batteries, which are connected in
series.
1. Connect jumper cable A to the positive (+) terminal (1) on booster battery A.
Connect the other end to the negative (–) terminal (2) on booster battery B.
2. Connect jumper cable B to the positive (+) terminal (3) on the snow thrower.
Connect the other end to the positive (+) terminal (4) on booster battery B.
3. Connect jumper cable C to the negative (–) terminal (5) on booster battery A.
Connect the other end to the ground bolt (6) on the snow thrower.
4. Start the engine (see page 44).
5. Remove the jumper cables in the reverse order.
