Engine oil
Inspection:
Check the engine oil level with the engine stopped and in a level position.
1. Adjust the snowblower so that the bottom of the engine cover is horizontal
seen from the side by adjusting the auger angle.
2. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and wipe it clean.
3. Insert and remove the dipstick without screwing it into the filler neck. Check
the oil level shown on the dipstick.
4. If the oil level is low, fill to the upper limit mark on the dipstick with the
recommended oil.
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Refilling:
If the level is low, fill to the upper limit mark on the dipstick with the
recommended oil.
Change the oil if it is excessively contaminated or discolored. (Refer to page 83
for the engine oil change interval and procedure.)
