Commissioning

a) Folding Open the Car Body
Pull out the two safety clips at the rear end of the vehicle and
carefully fold the car body forward by 180°.
Observe that the connection cable to the LEDs is not crushed
or torn off.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
First open the car body, see above. Guide the aerial cable through
the enclosed aerial tube (1) and plug it into the respective holder
(2) at the top of the receiver box.
If no aerial cable protrudes from the holder (2) at initial commissi-
oning, open the receiver box. For this, you must remove several
inner clips e.g. with long-nosed pliers.
Then route the aerial cable through the opening of the receiver
box lid from below.
Wrap the receiver, e.g. in a little foam to protect it from vibration.
Close the lid of the receiver box again. Observe that no cable
is crushed.
For best range, the aerial cable must protrude from the vehicle as vertically as possible. Never shorten the
aerial cable! Never coil the aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range.
c) Inserting Receiver Battery
Open the lid (1) of the battery body by pulling out its holding clips,
e.g. with long-nosed pliers.
Insert a suitable receiver battery and connect it to the plug (2) for
the receiver power supply.
If the plug is not visible at initial commissioning, it is still in the
receiver box.
Close the battery box again. Observe that no cable is crushed.
