9. Commissioning

a) Removing the car body
The vehicle body is secured with holding clips which must be slid out from the retaining pins. The car body can then be
taken off.
b) Installing the receiver's antenna cable
The receiver's antenna cable is normally rolled up on delivery. Unwrap the antenna cable completely and smoothen it
carefully.
Now insert the antenna cable from below through the attachment. Guide it through the antenna tube and plug the
antenna tube into the attachment. Simply let excess antenna cable protrude loosely from the tip of the antenna tube.
If a rubber cap is enclosed for the antenna tube, it prevents the dislocation of the cable after attachment on the tip.
Make sure that the antenna cable does not protrude into the drive or touches the cardan shaft! It is normally
sufficient to slightly tighten the cable or fix it in place with a cable binder.
Never shorten the antenna cable!
c) Inserting the accumulator pack in the vehicle
Pull off the two safety clips on the retainer of the battery pack and then lift the retainer upwards.
Insert the battery pack into the chassis; the connection cable should point towards the rear axis to not hinder the
steering mechanics.
Reinsert the attachment strut in the right orientation and reattach it with the previously removed safety clips.
Attention!
The rechargeable battery pack must not yet be connected to the cruise control/receiver.
d) Attaching Telescopic Antenna to Remote Control
Insert the telescopic antenna from above into the corresponding opening on the transmitter and screw it tight. Do not
use any force when screwing the antenna tight; do not use any tools!
e) Inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries into the remote control
Slide out the cover for the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control and insert 8 rechargeable batteries
or 8 standard batteries into the transmitter. Please observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-). Close the battery
compartment.
