Fading Over or Superimposing a
Still Picture onto a Moving Picture
(Digital Image Mix)
@ Itnputting a Still Picture into Memory
When the Movie Camera is in the recording pause mode:
1 Push the [DIGITAL MODE SELECT] Switch
downwards.
2 Press the [MIX] Button.
®Press this button while aiming the Movie Camera at the
scene to be used for the still picture.
The image in the Viewfinder stands still for approx.
2 seconds and this still picture is input into memory.
§ Starting to Record a Scene with the Still Picture
In the recording pause mode:
3 Press the [START] Button.
@The still picture from the memory replaces the moving
picture gradually.
#(f this button is pressed for 2 seconds, the still picture
appears superimposed onto the moving picture.
@The Movie Camera should be aimed at the scene, which is
to be shot following the recording of the still picture.
4 Press the Start/Stop Button.
eThe stil! picture from the memory is now being recorded.
5 Press the [START] Button again.
The moving picture again replaces the still picture gradually,
and the recording of the moving picture continues.
lf the [MIX] Button was pressed for 2 seconds to
superimpose the still picture, the superimposed still picture
will disappear, and the recording of the moving picture alone
continues.
@ Cancelling the Digital Mix Function
Slide the Digital Mode Selector Switch up.

@ Enregistrement en mémoire d'une image fixe
Placer le camescope en mode pause a |'enregistrement:
1 Pousser le sélecteur [DIGITAL MODE
SELECT} vers le bas.
2 Appuyer sur la touche [MIX].
eAppuyer sur cette touche pendant que le camescope est
pointé sur le sujet devant servir pour l'enregistrement de
l'image fixe.
eL'image dans le viseur demeure fixe pendant environ
2 secondes puis est enregistrée en mémoire.
@ Pour commencer une prise de vues avec
Vimage fixe
Placer le camescope en mode pause a l'enregistrement:
3 Appuyer sur la touche [START].
®L'image fixe en mémoire remplace graduellement l'image en
mouvement dans le viseur.
@Si la touche est maintenue enfoncée pendant 2 secondes,
l'image fixe apparait en surimpression sur l'image en
mouvement.
eLe camescope doit étre pointé sur le sujet devant étre
enregistré aprés l'image fixe.
4 Appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche/
arrét.
eL 'image fixe en mémoire est alors enregistrée.
5 Appuyer de nouveau sur la touche [START].
eL'image réelle remplace graduellement l'image fixe et la
prise de vues se poursuit.
®Si la touche mélange [M!X] a été maintenue enfoncee
pendant 2 secondes, pour que l'image fixe apparaisse en
surimpression sur l'image en mouvement, l'image fixe
disparait et la prise de vues se poursuit Sur l'image réelle en
mouvement.
B Pour annuler la fonction de mélange numérique
Faire glisser le sélecteur de mode numérique vers le haut.
