Using the Macro Function
The Macro Close-up Function makes it possible to shoot very small
objects, photos, printed matter, insects and many other things.
1 Keep pressing to zoom to the maximum wide-
angle position.
2 Approach the subject to the desired distance.
©The focus will be adjusted automatically (Auto Focus Mode).
3 Press the Start/Stop Button.
eThe recording starts.
Hints for Recording with the Macro Close-up Function
¢To get more or less of the subject into the picture, change the
distance between the lens and the subject; do not use the [W] or
[T} Zoom Button.
#As the depth of field is very small in macro shooting, even slight
camera movements can cause the subject to go out of focus.
Therefore, it is recommended to use a tripod.
When the zoom lens is in its maximum telephoto position, the
minimum recording distance between lens and subject is 1.5 m.
#!n macro close-up shooting, the subject can be approached down
to a minimum distance of 4 cm between lens and subject.
It is recommended to use the Auto Focus Mode. However, with a
stable camera position (tripod, etc.), the Manual Focus Mode can
also be used.

Cette fonction permet d'effectuer une prise de vues sur des objets
trés petits, des photos, des imprimés, des insectes et bien d'autres.
1 Maintenir une pression sur cette touche afin
d'obtenir un grand-angulaire maximal.
2 Se rapprocher du sujet selon la distance
désirée.
®La mise au point se fait automatiquement (mode de mise au
point automatique).
3 Appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche/
arrét.
@La prise de vues débute.
Conseils concernant la prise de vues avec fonction macro
Pour varier la grandeur du sujet par rapport a /'image, faire varier
la distance entre l'objectif et le sujet; ne pas se servir des touches
de focale [W] ou [T].
Comme la profondeur de champ est trés faible en prise de vues
macro, méme les plus légers mouvements de caméra peuvent
suffire a dérégler la mise au point du sujet. Il est donc
recommandeé d'utiliser un trépied.
ll est recommandé d'utiliser le mode automatique de mise au
point. Toutefois, si le camescope est en position stable (avec
Putilisation d'un trépied), le mode manuel de mise au point peut
également étre utilisé,
