Recording
1 Insert the charged Battery Pack.
2 Turn the Movie Camera on.
3 Slide the [CAMERA/VCR] Selector Cover to
"CAMERA",

Insert a cassette with intact erasure
prevention tab.
A few seconds after closing the Cassette Compartment, the
Movie Camera will be in the recording pause mode.
5 Slide the [S-VHS ON/AUTO/OFF] Selector
Switch to "ON/AUTO" or "OFF"'.
ein the "ON/AUTO" position, the S-VHS recording system is
selected and the "§" Indication is lit. Playback will not be
possible on a normal VHS VCR.
eln the "OFF" position, the "f§" Indication is not tit.
Remove the Lens Cap.
Press the Start/Stop Button.
@ To Pause the Recording...
Press the Start/Stop Button.
@ To Shoot the Next Scene(s)...
Press the Start/Stop Button again.
@ To Stop the Recording...
Press the Start/Stop Button to stop the recording and then
turn the Movie Camera off.
Note:
If the Movie Camera is left in the recording pause mode for more
than 5 minutes, the recording pause mode will be canceled and the
Viewfinder will be turned off (recording lock mode). To resume
recording from this condition, turn the Movie Camera on again. If
the Movie Camera is left in the recording lock mode for more than
48 hours, it will automatically switch off completely.

Prise de vues
1 Installer un bloc-batterie comp!étement
rechargé.
2 Etablir le contact sur le camescope.
3 Glisser le rabat du sélecteur [CAMERA/VCR]
a la position "CAMERA".
4 Insérer une cassette munie de sa languette de
prevention d'effacement.
@Quelques secondes apres !a fermeture du compartiment a
cassette, le camescope passe en mode pause a
lenregistrement.
5 Glisser le sélecteur [S-VHS ON/AUTO/OFF] a
"ON/AUTO" ou a "OFF"'.
Dans ia position "ON/AUTO", c'est le format S-VHS qui est
sélectionné et l'indication "3" est affichée. La lecture ne
sera pas possible sur un magnétoscope VHS normal.
eDans Ia position "OFF", l'indication "Gj" n'est pas affichée.

Retirer le capuchon de |l'objectif.
7 Appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche/
arrét.
@ Pour arréter temporairement la prise de vues...
Appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche/arrét.
@ Pour enregistrer de nouvelles scénes...
Appuyer de nouveau sur la touche de mise en marche/arrét.
® Pour mettre fin a la prise de vues...
Appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche/arrét pour arréter la
prise de vues, puis couper le contact sur le camescope.
Remarque:
Si le mode pause est maintenu pendant plus de cing minutes,
l'appareil passe automatiquement en mode verrouillage a
l'enregistrement (l'écran du viseur s'éteint}. Pour reprendre
enregistrement, établir de nouveau le contact sur le camescope.
Si le mode verrouillage a l'enregistrement est maintenu pendant
plus de 48 heures, le contact est alors coupé automatiquement sur
le camescope.
