Sustain Footswitch
You can connect an optional DP-2, DP-6, or BOSS FS-5U
footswitch to the SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH jack in order to
hold the Upper Tone notes even after releasing the keys.
Here's how it works.
Connect a DP-2, DP-6, or BOSS FS-5U footswitch to
the SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH jack. :
Play a note with your right hand.
Press the footswitch.
Release the key.
The note(s) you played keep on sounding after you release
the corresponding keys.
To stop the note(s) from sounding, release the foot-
switch.
Note: This function is also available in ORGAN mode (see p. 25)
and applies to the Upper parts.

Es posible conectar un pedal interruptor DP-2, DP-6, 0
BOSS FS-5U opcional al jack SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH para
sostener las notas de Tone Upper incluso después de sol-
tar las teclas. Para ello.
Conecte el pedal interruptor DP-2, DP-6, o BOSS FS-5U
al jack SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH.
Toque una nota con la mano derecha.
Pulse el pedal interruptor.
Suelte la tecla.
La(s) nota(s) que haya tocado seguiran sonando después
de soltar las teclas correspondientes.
Para que las notas dejen de sonar, suelte el pedal inte-
rruptor.
Nota: Esta funcidn también esta disponible en el modo ORGAN
(consulte la p. 25) y se aplica a las partes Upper.

En branchant un commutateur au pied DP-2, DP-6 ou
BOSS FS-5U en option a la prise SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH,
vous pourrez maintenir le son des notes Upper méme
apres le relachement des touches. Voici comment ¢a mar-
che:
Branchez un commutateur au pied DP-2, DP-6 ou
BOSS FS-5U a la prise SUSTAIN FOOTSWITCH.
Jouez une note de la main droite.
Enfoncez le commutateur au pied.
Relachez la touche.
Vous entendez encore le son de la note ou des notes
jouée(s) méme aprés avoir relaché les touches correspon-
dantes.
Pour couper le son des notes, relachez le commutateur
au pied.
Remarque: Cette fonction est aussi disponible en mode ORGAN
(voyez p. 25) et s'applique aux parties Upper.
