1. Fine focus knob
For fine tuning the focus of the specimen .
2. Coarse focus knob
For quickly adjusting nosepiece vertical position to identify image
focus .
3. Light intensity adjustment wheel
Rotating counterclockwise to increase light intensity. Rotating
clockwise to reduce light intensity.
4. Aperture diaphragm adjustment lever
The aperture diaphragm defines the resolution, focus depth and
contrast of the microscopic image. The best resolution is obtained
when the apertures of the objective and the condenser are
roughly the same.

5. Nosepiece
Nosepiece is the base where objectives are to be installed. Rotate
nosepiece to move the objective of interest to the light path.
6. Objective
For magnifying the sample.
7. USB ports

The upper two ports: USB 2.0.
●
The lower port: USB 3.0.
8. Phase turret
Turn the wheel to switch contrasting methods among PH0, PH1
and BF.
