e) "Upgrade" function
This function is used to upgrade the manufacturer's firmware. If a firmware upgrade is available for the monitor/DVR,
it will be made available in our online shop on the corresponding product page.
Proceed as follows:
• Stop any playback or recording that is in progress.
• Find a new, empty memory card. Copy the new firmware into the main directory of the memory card. Insert this
memory card into the memory card slot (1) of the monitor/DVR.
• Briefly press the "MENU" button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.
• Use the " " or " " button to select the "System settings" submenu and briefly press the "

The upgrade process will start immediately after confirmation. Do not turn off the monitor/DVR or discon-
nect it from the operating voltage. This will damage the monitor/DVR! This will void the warranty!
Do not press any button on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control during the upgrade process.
• When the upgrade process is complete, the monitor/DVR will restart.
f) "Language" function
This function enables to set the language for the OSD menu and all screen messages.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the "MENU" button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.
