Memory card is not recognised
• The monitor/DVR can only be operated with SD, SDHC or SDXC memory cards; the maximum size is 128 GB.
• The monitor/DVR only supports FAT and FAT32 file formats (NTFS is not supported).
• Use the corresponding function of the monitor/DVR to format the memory card, as described in section 13. b); all
data on the memory card will be lost. The formatting process may take some time depending on the memory card
size.
• Remove the memory card, and then insert it back into the monitor/DVR.
• Use a different memory card.
Data cannot be written to the memory card
• Check write protection of the memory card; the memory card has a small slide switch for write protection.
• If the slide switch is very easy to move, it can happen that the slide switch moves while the memory card is inserted
into the monitor/DVR, causing unintentional enabling of write protection.
Recordings can't be saved
• Is the memory card full? Insert a new, empty memory card.
• If necessary, enable automatic overwrite of the memory card, as described in section 16. e). The oldest recordings
are overwritten with the current recordings and are lost.
• If overwrite is disabled, new recordings cannot be saved if the memory card is full.
• Use the corresponding function of the monitor/DVR to format the memory card, as described in section 13. b). All
data on the memory card will be lost. The formatting process may take some time depending on the memory card
size.
• The monitor/DVR only supports FAT and FAT32 file formats (NTFS is not supported).
• Make sure that you use a fast memory card (at least "Class 4"). This ensures that the memory card write speed is
sufficient to ensure continuous video data recording.
Image quality of recordings is poor
• Set a higher image quality or resolution, as described in section 12. c).
Whistling sound/feedback noises from the monitor/DVR speaker
• The wireless camera's microphone is too close to the monitor/DVR (e.g. during a function test). Keep a greater
distance when testing.
• Turn down the volume on the monitor/DVR.
The IR remote control does not work
• Replace the battery in the IR remote control. When inserting the battery, observe the correct polarity.
• Orient the IR remote control so that its front faces the monitor/DVR receiver (12).
Recordings cannot be played on the computer
• Use a different piece of software to play the recording.
