b) Mains adapters
• Do not mix up the two mains adapters. The larger mains adapter (12 V/DC output, 1000 mA) is intended
for the monitor/DVR and the smaller one (5 V/DC output, 1000 mA) for the wireless camera.
• Both supplied mains adapters are manufactured according to protection class II. The mains adapters
must be connected to a standard mains socket that is connected to the public grid.
• The mains sockets for both mains adapters must be located near to the monitor/DVR and wireless
camera and be easily accessible.
• The mains adapters are only suitable for use in dry, enclosed indoor spaces; they must be protected from
moisture or dampness. There is a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Do not unplug the mains adapter by pulling on the cable. Grip the sides of the plug, and then remove
the plug from the mains socket.
• Protect the mains adapter cables from sharp edges and do not step on them.
• Do not touch the mains adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal electric shock!
Fully disconnect the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the mains adapter is connected (e.g.
turn off the corresponding circuit breaker or unscrew the fuse, and then turn off the residual current
circuit breaker).
Unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Only use the included mains adapters to operate the monitor/DVR and wireless camera. If a mains
adapter is defective, it must be replaced with an identical stabilised mains adapter with the same techni-
cal data (voltage/current).
c) Monitor/DVR
• The monitor/DVR is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor spaces. Do not expose it to direct sunlight,
heat, cold, humidity or moisture, otherwise it will be damaged. Do not place containers filled with liquids
on or near the monitor/DVR.
• Never cover the ventilation openings on the back.
• The monitor/DVR must only be placed or mounted on flat, horizontal, and stable surfaces.
• Use a suitable underlay to protect valuable furniture surfaces from dents or scratches. The monitor
stand has a foam material to avoid scratches. However, if the monitor gets damaged, the additional pad
protects against scratches.
• Do not apply pressure to the surface of the display, because this might cause scratches, or break the
display and thus permanently damage it. This will void the warranty!
