07.2 Û QUICK SOLUTION TO PROBLEMS
Problem
The device is on
but not working.
The red LED is on.
(intervention of the APC
protection circuit)
The device is on
but not working.
The red LED is blinking.
(intervention of the APC
protection circuit)
The device is on
but not working.
The red ad the green LED
are blinking alternatively.
A slight whistling sound
coming from the compact
piezo LED handpiece is
heard during operation.
Possible cause
Handpiece not connected to
the cord
Sync circuit malfunction
Interruption of a cord wire
Handpiece defective
The insert is not correctly
tightened on the handpiece
Insert broken, worn-out, or
deformed
Handpiece or cord connector
contacts wet
Power supply too low
Power supply too high
Potentiometer not connected
The insert is not correctly
tightened on the handpiece
The irrigation circuit has not
been completely filled

Solution
Connect the handpiece to the
cord
Contact an Authorized Mectron
Service Center
Contact an Authorized Mectron
Service Center
Contact an Authorized Mectron
Service Center
Unscrew and correctly screw the
insert again with the Mectron
torque wrench (see Use and
Maintenance Manual compact
piezo LED- paragraph 04.4
INSTRUCTION FOR USE)
Replace the insert with a new
one
Thoroughly dry the contacts
with compressed air
Supply the device correctly
Supply the device correctly
Correctly connect the
potentiometer
Unscrew and correctly screw the
insert again with the Mectron
torque wrench (see Use and
Maintenance Manual compact
piezo LED- paragraph 04.4

Fill the irrigation circuit
