Mounting
This chapter describes the preparation and completion of the mounting of the Standstill
Monitor MOC3ZA.
The following steps are necessary after mounting:
 Completing the electrical connections (see chapter 5 "Electrical installation" on
page 59).
 Checking the installation (see section 7.2 "Test notes" on page 66)
4.1

Mounting the Standstill Monitor MOC3ZA

Mount the MOC3ZA only in a suitable housing!
The control cabinet or assembly casing of the MOC3ZA must at least comply with
enclosure rating IP 54.
Secure the MOC3ZA against tampering!
➢ Secure the values set for U
cabinet.
 Mounting in accordance with EN 50274
 The module is located in a 45 mm wide modular housing for 35 mm DIN rails according
to EN 60715.
➢ Fit the module to the DIN rail from above.
➢ Slightly press down the module and then engage it on the DIN rail.
4.2

Dismantling the Standstill Monitor MOC3ZA

➢ Remove the plug-in terminal blocks with the wiring (see below) and, if fitted, the end
clips.
➢ Release the catch integrated into the housing and remove the device from the DIN rail.
4.3

Plug-in terminal blocks

There are various connection options available for the Standstill Monitor MOC3ZA:
 Plug-in terminal blocks with spring terminals
 Plug-in terminal blocks with screw type terminals
