Installationandwiring
Respect the following additional mounting conditions to ensure
that the measuring device operates correctly:
-
it is preferable to install the sensor at an angle of 45° to a
horizontal centred on the pipe to prevent deposits on the elec-
trodes and measurement errors due to any air bubbles (see
Fig. 8 ) ;

Ensure that the pipe is always filled up to the transmitter (see
Fig. 9 ) ;

ensure that the fluid flow direction is ascending in vertical
mounting (see Fig. 9 ) ;
-
prevent the formation of air bubbles in the pipe in the section
around the sensor (see Fig. 10 ) ;
-
the transmitter must be placed upstream of the injection point
of a liquid with high conductivity (e.g.: acid, basic, saline solu-
tion).
